Susan's trip in an Ambulance
*Warning may be graphic in detail*
Susan and Mommy took a short trip to the Emergency Room last night. We got to ride in an ambulance. We live very close to Children's Hospital but, when Susan's head cut would not stay together with my hand pressing on it holding to together and I knew no band-aid would keep until we got to the Hospital, we called for an ambulance.
Susan and the kids decided to jump off the top bunk bed. Susan, I hear from jr, stood on the side rail then fell, she must have landed on a toy doll bed or a dresser drawer sticking just far enough out to cut her head pretty badly.
The EMT said the cut was to her bone. The Emergency Room Doctor said she did not need a ct scan because she never lost consciousness and she was acting normal considering everything.
She got a few layers of stitches to prevent scaring, and did pretty well. Today she is fine, I keep reminding her and the kids to not play too hard and we are watching lots of movies to rest
. Brian jr got my camera and took this photo of Susan this morning. She looks like her happy normal self.Last night she was not as happy div>Here is a photo of her cut, (The photo is not extremely graphic but I thought it better not to post the photo) In the photo she is sleeping in the ER room after they had cleaned her all up, about 2 hours after the injury, she looks peaceful in her "Doctor blanket," we took it home as a souvenir and she had named it so.
We are all a little shaken up, and more cautious of the dangers around us. We are also more grateful for each other and or health, safety and good smart Doctors. Here are the rest of the photos jr took

Katie's prayers
Katie can be very sweet and she is always sincere. Her prayers reflect that personalithy trait. She always prays for exactly she she wants. Some of our favorites have been,
"Please bless mommy wont throw up anymore like she did this morning."
(remember I am prego)
"Please bless Daddy wont rip his pants today"
( My favorite! I was mending clothing all day)
"Please bless Brian wont be such-a mean brother"
"Please bless we wont fight over who says the prayer anymore"
"Please bless we wont get in trouble from the police"

Rock-a-bye hot-dog.
Susan is a crazy girl she has so much personality. The other day she was in the kitchen cradling a cold hot dog (one of her favs) and she rocked it back and forth singing "Rock-a-bye hot dog in the tree tops....." Pretty funny!
Another Susan story
Susan is verry funny, a few days ago she was crying in her car seat as we were driving to put the kids to bed. Yes we do that sometimes when its 9:30 or 10:00 pm and they are protesting sleep we throw them in the car and drive until at least 2 kids are asleep.
Anyway Susan was very upset crying and yelling . In a panicky she was voice she started calling to me, "Mommy! Mommy!! Mommy!!!" I calmly turned on the verge of going crazy and said "What Susan?" she quickly responded "Your....forehead." It made us all laugh, silly girl!

"Mom you're in trouble, I am taking away all your cleaning things!"
